Kevin Clay Rickett, Sr., 66, of Covington, died Friday, June 4, 2021, at Piedmont Hospice Center in Charlottesville. Mr. Rickett was born May 5, 1955 in Covington, a son of the late Robert and Margaret Turk Rickett. Kevin retired from the Army as a Sgt 1st class. In recent years he had been employed at the Omni Homestead as a Houseman. Surviving are two sons, Kevin Rickett Jr. and his wife Skye of Covington, and Tyler Rickett of Fort Benning, GA; a daughter, Shannon Simnick and her husband Nick of Clayton, OH; and seven grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for a late date.
