Travis Matthew Ashlock, of Covington, died Thursday, February 25, 2021. Travis was born October 31, 2006 in Newport News, VA. He was a student at the Rivermont School in Covington. Survivors include his mother, Wanda Ashlock (Deandria Brown); one sister, Lawanda Ashlock; two brothers, Tyshawn Ashlock and Oswald Ashlock; and grandmother, Sylvia Mansfield, all of Covington; an aunt, Patty Osborne (Larry Nemergut) of Gloucester, VA; and several cousins including Tina Osborne and Jayden Osborne, both of Covington. In keeping with his families' wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2020 at 1PM in the Arritt Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Donnie Bowker officiating. Friends attending the service are asked to wear red, white, and black as a tribute to Travis' favorite cartoon character, Mickey Mouse.
