Meredith Littleton "Bugs" Jennings, Jr., 74, of Jackson River Road died Friday, December 18, 2020, at his daughter's residence. Mr. Jennings was born August 2, 1946, in Covington, a son of the late Meredith L. Jennings, Sr. and Betty Arrington Fitzgerald. Meredith was a veteran of the VietNam War serving two tours with the Seabees in the United States Navy. He retired as a Team Leader on the #5 & #8 paper machines at MeadWestvaco. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and loved riding his Harley Trike with his friends. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and a former member of Good News Church. Surviving are his fianc, Theresa Antonini, his four children Sylvia Moats and husband, Dan, Scott Jennings and wife, Robin, Michael Jennings and wife, Amy and Marla Toombs and husband, Jason, the mother of his children, Lynda Jennings, five grandchildren; Logan Toombs, Cheyenne Jennings, Megan Moats, Braden Toombs, and Benjamin Jennings, his fianc's mother, Shirley Robey, his fianc's children and grandchild; Jason Antonini, Micaela (Ki) Antonini, and Elijah Antonini, three brothers, Timothy Jennings and Julie Leonard, Gary Jennings and his wife ,Pat, and William Jennings and Sara Schmitt and a number of nieces and nephews. In keeping with the current Covid-19 pandemic guidelines masks are required and those in attendance are required to always practice social distancing. A funeral service will be held Tuesday December 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Pastor Buddy Burks officiating. The interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with military rites being presented by the Curtis A. Smith Post 1033 Veterans of Foreign Wars. The family suggests that memorial donations be made in Mr. Jennings' name to the Wounded Warrior Program at P.O.
