Diana Bennett Propps, 75, of 210 Cline Meadow Rd., died, Friday December 10, 2021, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Low Moor. Mrs. Propps was born July 30, 1946, in Ronceverte, WV a daughter of the late Echols A. and Lilly Madge Holliday Bennett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Aaron M. Propps in June 2021; three sisters; four brothers; and an infant sibling. She loved to cook, quilt, garden, and help people. Surviving are her husband of 50 years Glendol R. Propps of Covington; a daughter Melanie Maxey and husband Lee of Colonial Beach; a daughter in law Amanda Propps of Sweet Chalybeate; four grandchildren: Remington Propps of Lexington, Barrett Propps and Alana Propps of Sweet Chalybeate, and Katie Maxey of Richmond; a brother Manfred Bennett and wife Linda of Ronceverte, WV; and a number of niece and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 15, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Maxey officiating assisted by Rev. Remington Propps and Rev. Pam Irvine. The family will receive their friends one hour prior to the service at Arritt Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Johnson Creek ARP Church Cemetery.
