Henry Lee "George" Kimberlin, 92, of Covington, died Thursday, February 11, 2021, at his home. Mr. Kimberlin was born June 27, 1928, in Alleghany County a son of the late George D. Kimberlin and Lora May Bess Kimberlin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife, Helen Penley Kimberlin. He had retired in 1983 from VDOT. He attended Lone Star Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing for all of his life. Surviving are his Son, David R. Kimberlin, of San Diego, CA; his Granddaughter, Jessico Vesco, of Lakeside, CA; two great grandchildren, Riley Vesco and Ryder Vesco , of Lakeside ,CA; one Brother, Leo, Kimberlin, of Covington; one Sister, Louise May, of Manassas; a special friend, Bridgett Andrews, of Covington and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday, February 15, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Earwood officiating. Graveside rites will be conducted by Army National Guard. Active pallbearers will be Gary Kimberlin, Darrell Kimberlin, Christine Fox, Keith Klevins, Rex Selleck and Bobby Hubbard. Alternates will be Jason Scruggs and Joshua Kimberlin. The family will receive their friends for one hour prior to the service Monday afternoon at Arritt Funeral Home.
