Norman Earnway Kimberlin, Jr., 74, of 1002 Hattie Street died Friday, March 5, 2021, at his home. Mr. Kimberlin was born June 29, 1946, in Alleghany County a son of the late Norman E. Kimberlin, Sr., and Celia Wolfe Kimberlin Terry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert L. Kimberlin and Coyd W. Kimberlin, and a daughter-in-law, Lily Lipscomb Kimberlin. Norman was a veteran of the United States Army serving the majority of his active duty in Germany. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor for the City of Covington School System. Surviving are his Wife of 50 years, Patricia Sparks Kimberlin, of Covington; three Sons, Christopher Kimberlin, and his Daughters, Kayla and Anna; Jeffery Kimberlin and his wife, Sharon, and their children Montana, India, Karamello, Dallas and Eric; Norman Kimberlin, , and his wife Leisa, and their children Nathan, Abigail and Karlie, all of Covington. Also surviving are four Brothers, Mike Kimberlin and his wife, Sherry, of Covington; Timmy Kimberlin and his wife, Denise, of Easton, MD; David Kimberlin and Mark Kimberlin, both of Covington; two Sisters, Norma Jean Griffith and her husband, Ernie, of Covington, and Lori Campbell and her husband, Robbie, of Covington; his Sister-in-law, Judy Kimberlin, of Covington and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with the families wishes, his body has been cremated. A graveside service will be Friday, March 12, 2021, at 2:00 PM in Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev Bill Gilliland officiating.
