Sandra Ardelia "Saun" Hunter, 53 of 345 E. Prospect St. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, in Lewis - Gale Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor. She was born July 8, 1968, in Covington she was the daughter of Ruby Hunter Lewis of Covington. She was preceded in death by a daughter Tanyell P. Hunter and grandson Ki'ari Wright. Saun loved to travel and being with her loved ones. Surviving other than her mother, is her fianc Albert Mallory of 17 years, a son Gavin Hunter and his wife Kayla,two brothers Mark Hunter( Monte Crawford), Phillip Lewis and two sisters Elisa Rogers and her husband Van and Audra Hill. Two grandchildren Taylin Neison and Maijor Wright, all of Covington, also surviving are host nieces and nephews who she dearly loved. Also, a special friend Nancy Jordan of Covington. A graveside service will be held Tuesday October 19, 2021, at 2:00 PM, in Alleghany Memorial Park with Elder Pete Moore officiating. The family receive their friends on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 at Arritt Funeral Home.
