Tonya Monique Coles, 51, of Chesapeake, formerly Covington, died Wednesday, August 12, 2020, in Chesapeake Regional Hospital. She was born June 11, 1969, in Covington a daughter of Debbie E. Coles of Covington. She was preceded in death by her grandparents who helped raised her, Norwood and Ardelia Coles. Tonya worked at Food Lion in Chesapeake, she also was graduate of Covington High School. Surviving in addition to her mother are her companion, Larry Turner, of Chesapeake; three sisters Rhonda Coles of Waldorf, Md., Tieshia Ridley and her husband Mike of Virginia Beach and Kashay Coles of Covington. And Clarence Twitty of Covington. Also surviving number aunts ,uncles and nieces an nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020, at 1:00 PM in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Elder Randall Allen officiating.
