Elnora Curtis Fertig, 89, of 2019 Dressler Drive died Monday Morning, June 14, 2010, in her residence. Mrs. Fertig was born June 8, 1921, in Covington a daughter of the late Edgar Lee Curtis and Anna May Brown Curtis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Phyllis Humphrey, and a brother Edgar L. Curtis, Jr. She worked at Meadwestvaco in the pulp control lab. Surviving is a sister-in-law Zernie Gunn of Clifton Forge, and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home. Entombment will be made at Alleghany Memorial Park Mausoleum. Active pallbearers will be Buddy Ervin, Harold Higgins, Harold "Toy" Higgins, Jr., Alan Botkins, and Pete Griffith. Friends may pay respects at anytime at Arritt Funeral Home. The Family will be receive their friends from 1:00 PM till service time.
