James Gilman Flint, 84, of 3707 Jackson River Road died Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at his home. Mr. Flint was born September 20, 1936, in Covington a son of the late Randolph Andy Flint and Aurelia Viola Hinton Flint. James served his country in the United States Navy. He was the owner of The Squire Shop men's clothing store in Covington for a number of years. He was a lifelong member of McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Barbara Clarke Flint, of Covington; two Brothers, Edward Lee Flint of Buchanan and Gary Allen Flint and his Wife, Katie, of Ashland; his Sister-in-law, Betty Stull, of Covington and his Brother-in-law, Tom Clarke, of Richmond. In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
