Rockie Lane Stuple, 58, of 306 Broken Arrow Lane, died, Saturday July 10, 2021. Mr. Stuple was born February 1, 1963, in Alleghany County a son of the late Carl and Emma Beatrice Newcomb Stuple. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Alice Ditson. He worked as a lineman with many different companies and was a member of the IBEW Local Union 70 in Forestville, MD. Surviving are his daughter Arlana West, a son Matthew Stuple, three granddaughters Autumn West, Madeline West, Elliot Marie Herstine, a grandson Charles Markley all of Covington, six sisters; Lois Wright of Boones Mill, Rita Wilcher of Tomball, TX, Nevada Ann Jones of Centralia, IN, Hazel Wright of Covington, Marie Wolfe of Covington, and Carol West of AZ, four brothers; Billy Stuple of Murfreesboro, TN, Randy Stuple of Fincastle, Gary Stuple of Fredericksburg, and Henry Stuple of Martinsville, and a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be Tuesday July 13, 2021, at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home. The family will receive their friends following the service on Tuesday. A private interment will be made on Wednesday at Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery in Mt. Sidney.
