Gary Lee Reynolds, 87, of Covington, passed away on October 10, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Reynolds was born on October 30, 1934, in Covington, VA a son of the late Howard and Mabel Williams Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Phillips Reynolds in 2011 and a son in law Charlie Looney. Surviving are his six children: William (Debbie) Reynolds, Deborah (Jerry) Peters, Gail Looney, Tina (Cody) Brown, Donald (Missy) Reynolds, and Deannie (Dwayne) Clapsaddle, nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother Freddie Reynolds; two sisters Betty Owens and Bonnie Reynolds, and a number of nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes his body has been cremated. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. The funeral arrangements are being handled by Arritt Funeral Home.
