Gordon Ralph Hosey, 49, of 2028 S. Arden Ave., died Monday, December 21, 2020, at Lewis Gale- Alleghany Hospital in Low Moor. Mr. Hosey was born September 17, 1971, in Covington, a son of Martha Ann Sorbara Hosey of Covington, and the late Larry E. Hosey Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother Larry E. Hosey Jr. He was employed at Bacova Guild. He was also a member of the Living Word Assembly of God. Surviving are his wife, Bertha Bowen Hosey, a daughter, Stephanie McCummings and husband, Ronnie, a son, Stephen Hosey, two grandchildren Alaric McCummings and Sophie Hosey, his fishing buddy Richard Caldwell and a good friend Glenn Hiner, all of Covington. A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 27, 2020, at 2:00PM in the Lone Star Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Tremblay officiating. Friends and family may call at the home at any time.
