Brandon Lee Jordan, 42, of Covington, died Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Brandon was born April 10, 1981, in Alleghany County, a son of John Small of North Carolina and Brenda L. Jordan of Covington. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Lorenza Jordan.

Mr. Jordan served his country in the United States Army, serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan before returning home in 2007. He was a member of Wrightsville Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived by two daughters, Brooklyn Jordan and Brianna Jordon of Castle Rock, CO; two brothers, Marcus Jordan and John Small, Jr.; a sister, Laura Small; a grandmother, Mabel Jordan of Covington; two aunts, Ressie Johnson and Karen Jordan, both of Covington; five uncles, Robert Jordan of Harrisonburg, Curtis Jordan, Clarence Jordan, Richard Jordan, Jay Jordan, all of Covington; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a special aunt, Lori Peters of Covington.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerome Basham officiating. The family will receive their friends from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

In keeping with his wishes, following the service, his body will be cremated.
