VIVIAN HICKS Vivian Betty Hicks, 81, of Bradfordsville, KY , and formerly of Covington, died, Monday , March 15, 2010 . She was born March 15, 1929 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Jesse A. and Vinnie Ann Tucker Hicks. Ms. Hicks was a former waitress and a caregiver. She had attended First Christian Church and was a past member of the Boiling Spring Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Hicks, a niece Vivian Hicks; six sisters, Lucile Campbell, Eddie Chapman, Estelle Lilly, Odel Meadows, Maggie Yeats and Lula Southern; three brothers, William A. Hicks, Ernest Hicks and Johnny Hicks. Surviving are four sons, James Hanna and Peggy Bladen of Bradfordsville, KY ; Keith and Nancy Hicks of Covington; Dwight and Linda Argabrite of Laurel, MD and David Hicks of New Castle ; grandchildren , Keith Hicks, Jr.; Wendy Kidd; Jamie Argabrite ; Casey Argabrite and Bobby Jo Argabrite and Justin hicks who was raised in her home ; six great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; one brother, Howard Hicks and his wife, Arnetta of Covington and a number of nieces and nephews including Leona Horton and Arthur Hicks who were raised in her home. The interment will follow in Lone Star Cemetery.
