George Lester Aycock, 81, of 212 E. Beech St, died, Tuesday February 16, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Aycock was born February 13, 1940 in Durham NC. a son of late Theodore R. Aycock and Naomi Mooney Aycock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Lola Aycock. George served in the United States Marine Corps during Korea, he retired from Dewitt Trucking Co. in Rockingham NC., as a truck driver for number of years. Surviving are three daughters Crystal Christian and Tonja Carroll all of Covington and Tamara Aycock of NC. a number of grandchildren, a number of brothers and sisters to include Bob Hill who was raised as a brother, his caregiver Charlotte Stull of Covington, and a number of nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes his body has been cremated. A private service will be held at later. Arrangements are being handle by Arritt Funeral Home.
