Anna Mae Stuart Chittum, 79, of 1001 N. Beverly Avenue died Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem. Mrs. Chittum was born September 13, 1941, in Alderson,WV, a daughter of the late Charles and Lena Depriest Stuart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers. She was a longtime active member of the Cornerstone Church. Surviving are her Husband of 59 years, John T. Chittum, of Covington; two Sons and Daughters-in-law, Marshall and Athena Chittum and Willliam and Pam Chittum, all of Covington; five grandchildren, Zach Chittum, Matthew Chittum, Emily Chittum, Miranda Chittum and Thomas Chittum; three great grandchildren, William Robertson, Krista Armentrout and Troy Chittum; two Sisters, Nancy Shafer of Charleston, WV, and Rosie Evans of Crossville, TN; one Brother, James Lucas, of Delaware and a number of nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated A memorial service has been scheduled for Wednesday February 17, 2021 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home.
